The Damascus Team

Our team of experienced electricians provides safe, reliable electrical services with a focus on quality, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.

Meet Max

Owner

Max Lundin started his career surrounding the construction industry after graduating from college at Western Washington University in 2011. His first career was with Grainger Industrial Supplies where he worked directly with customers in manufacturing and construction. In 2015 Max decided to join the electrical apprenticeship. During the apprenticeship he worked on a broad array of commercial, industrial and residential projects that helped lay the foundation for his development. Leading up to achieving the electrical General Supervising License he was the foreman on large commercial school remodels and additions.

Shortly after Max married his wife Brooke, they decided to start a company that offered the communication and earnestness of a small shop with the technical knowledge and experience of a larger outfit. The goal of the business is to provide exceptional quality, expert knowledge, and an unmatched level of integrity. Damascus Electrics’ goal is not to be the largest electrical contractor, but to continue to build a close team of high caliber individuals who love what they do and reflect their passion through the quality of their work.

Outside of work Max spends his days looking after his wife Brooke, son Bo, and husky Dakota. His family shares their love for the outdoors enjoying all the hiking and fishing that Central Oregon has to offer. Max is an owner that makes himself available to his customers as he is often in the field as much as possible, working right alongside his growing team. It is important to him to build lasting relationships with the builders he works for and clients they serve.

Meet Zach

Journeyman Electrician

Zach Ontjes was born and raised in Redmond, Oregon, where he resides with his growing family. With 7 years of electrical experience, Zach brings knowledge, skill and passion to every job. Early in his apprenticeship, Zach moved to Portland to gain experience with custom homes, high-rises, and commercial builds in the Portland Metro and surrounding areas. After finishing his schooling Zach moved back to Central Oregon to join like-minded individuals on the job sites and work closely with homeowners and builders.

When he is not working, you can find him enjoying life as a new father to his son, Clayton. He’s likely to be seen by any body of water in his boat, with his dog Beau by his side, or out with his family at their go-to restaurants and attending their favorite music artists’ concerts.
